Taking place for the third year the Texas Contemporary Art Fair is being held from 10th of October to 13th of the same month. It wil feature representations from 70 galleries all around the world.
At the beginning a fascinating discussion A Common Language:A new occasional programme will take place, with the pianist Sarah Rothenberg, poet Tony Hoagland and painter Palazzolo. The artists will discuss how their respective fields have shaped their ideas about art and artistic practice and, looking beyond their own experiences, consider what they, as artists, have in common. Followed by numerous events and tours. As special events: Texas Renaissance Festival, Houston Vintage Day Marker, Zine Fest Houston.
